Which technologies
do you operate on?
At Baba9 we are dedicated to develop web enabled e-commerce
and backend solutions for our customers. Our field of competence
focuses on PHP and mySQL applications which are deployed onto
Unix servers. We use Linux and FreeBSD, but our customers
also use Solaris or other Unix platforms. The development
is equally based upon Windows or Linux clients, with an even
larger shift towards pure Unix development.
The database backend consists of mySQL, an open source relational database. It
is very similar to commercial solutions and extremely fast.
Our web developers collaborate closely with
our in-house graphic team to guarantee an appealing look
and feel. Our designers are responsible for the development
of HTML templates and graphical elements. In this area we
are also moving towards XML and XSL in order to gain more independence
between the application- and design layers building on top
of established standards.
